Nepenthes fusca

DESCRIPTION:
Nepenthes fusca is generally an epiphytic species, being seldom seen as it inhabits the rainforest canopy. It will occasionally grow in open areas adjacent to mossy forest, and pitchers can be up to 20 cm in height. This species has a wide range in Borneo, and its morphology varies between locations.

ELEVATION: 1200-2500 meters

CULTIVATION
This species is generally not a difficult plant to grow, but enjoys high humidity, moist potting mix and a preference for sphagnum as a growing medium. Stems climb readily, and pitchers are produced where the tendrils wrap around vegetation.
